Treatments
Most wounds, minor cuts and scratches heal on their own within two weeks. Sometimes a wound stays open longer due to blood flow problems, infection, diabetes, or poor nutrition. The specially trained clinical team at the Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine at University Healthcare – Berkeley Medical Center has advanced training and experience in healing difficult wounds.
Some types of wounds we treat:
- Diabetic Ulcers
- Pressure Ulcers
- Arterial Ulcers
